  • Worth the Surrender: Finding Joy in Following Jesus | Adam Walz in Taiwan
    2026/09/02

What does it look like when missions becomes more than going somewhere and becomes giving your life to people?

In this episode, Mark sits down with missionary Adam Walz, as he shares an honest and deeply personal look at cross-cultural ministry: learning Mandarin Chinese, facing the realities of culture shock, walking through unexpected heartache, and discovering the demanding, but beautiful work of life-on-life discipleship.

You'll also hear the remarkable story of a young Taiwanese man named Vision, who entered Adam's life as a language teacher and became something far more. His story is a powerful reminder that the goal of missions isn't to make people dependent upon the missionary; it's to make disciples who follow Christ and carry the gospel forward.

And perhaps the greatest lesson Adam has learned along the way? Following Jesus may cost us our comfort, but what we gain in knowing Him is infinitely greater.

    ABOUT OUR GUEST

Adam Walz and his wife, Ashley, have served as church-planting missionaries in Taiwan for nearly seven years. With a heart for life-on-life discipleship and training national believers, Adam has devoted much of his ministry to building relationships, sharing the gospel, and equipping Taiwanese Christians to carry the work forward. Today, the Walzes are seeing the fruit of that investment as believers they have discipled take greater responsibility in the local church and reach others with the gospel.

    PRAY FOR ADAM & ASHLEY
    • For Vision and the church in Taiwan. Pray for God’s protection and strength as Vision and the other believers continue leading and serving while Adam and Ashley are in the States. Ask God to give them wisdom, unity, and continued opportunities to reach others with the gospel.
    • For joy and encouragement. Pray that the believers in Taiwan would find genuine joy in serving Christ and grow in their understanding of just how deeply He loves them, especially as some face real costs for following Jesus.
    • For continued discipleship. Pray that God would continue raising up Taiwanese believers who will faithfully make disciples, train others, and carry the work of the gospel forward for generations to come.
    • For the Walz children. Adam and Ashley especially ask prayer for their children—Anna, Micah, and Moriah—that each of them would personally come to know Christ and choose to follow Him.

  • Fruit that Remains: Lessons from Four Decades in Brazil | Al and Kim Yoder
    2026/08/19

"The greatest adventure isn't living in the Amazon. The greatest adventure is spending a lifetime faithfully following wherever God leads."

For more than 43 years, Al and Kim Yoder have done exactly that. From pioneering church plants in Brazil to discipling future pastors and watching Brazilian believers become missionaries themselves, their story is a powerful testimony that God's Kingdom advances through ordinary people who faithfully say "yes" to His call.

In this conversation, Al and Kim reflect on decades of ministry, the lessons they've learned through hardship and joy, and why the greatest adventure isn't found in exotic places—it's found in faithfully following wherever God leads.

    ABOUT OUR GUEST

Al and Kim Yoder have faithfully served the Lord in Brazil for more than 43 years, investing their lives in church planting, aviation ministry, theological education, and biblical counseling. Today, they continue equipping pastors and church leaders through seminary ministry while encouraging the next generation to faithfully follow God's call.

    PRAY FOR AL & KIM
    • Pray for their ongoing ministry of training pastors and church leaders. Although their season of pioneering ministry in the Amazon has come to a close, Al and Kim continue investing in the next generation through theological education and biblical counseling. Pray that God would use their teaching to strengthen churches across Brazil and multiply faithful leaders.
    • Pray for lasting fruit from decades of discipleship. One of the greatest joys they shared was seeing believers like Duda grow into mature disciples and eventually become missionaries themselves. Pray that the churches they planted and the leaders they trained would continue producing disciples who make disciples for generations to come.
    • Pray for strength, wisdom, and good health. After more than forty-three years of ministry, Al and Kim remain passionate about serving Christ. Pray that God would continue to give them health, wisdom, and opportunities to encourage pastors, missionaries, and churches both in Brazil and around the world.
    • Pray that God would use Al's new book, In Him. Pray that the stories of God's faithfulness shared in In Him: God Stories from the Mighty Amazon River would encourage believers, strengthen the faith of churches, and inspire a new generation to faithfully follow God's call wherever He leads.

  • Faithfulness in the Slow Work of Missions | Dave Price in France
    2026/08/05

What does missionary life look like in a country where relationships may take years to develop and visible spiritual fruit often comes slowly?

In this episode of Kingdom Without Borders, Mark Davis talks with missionary and pastor Dave Price about nearly two decades of ministry in southern France. Dave shares how God called him back to the country where he was born, provided for his family in remarkable ways, and taught him that faithful ministry is not always dramatic—it is often built through patience, relationships, prayer, and ordinary obedience.

You’ll hear the remarkable story of a family transformed by the gospel after initially opposing the church, how God provided a permanent building for a young congregation, and why Dave believes anyone considering missions should begin serving God right where they are today.

    ABOUT OUR GUEST

Dave Price serves with his wife, Melissa, and their children in southern France, where he pastors Église Biblique Baptiste du Comminges. Their ministry centers on preaching God’s Word, discipling believers, training future leaders, reaching surrounding communities with the gospel, and helping establish a strong, self-supporting local church.

Dave also works with the Alliance Baptiste de France, teaches in Bible colleges and ministry-training programs, and produces French-language biblical teaching through sermons, articles, videos, and the podcast Fixe ton regard sur Jésus.

    • For more French men to be trained as pastors and ministry leaders
