  • Why did God give us free will - Episode 9
    2026/08/24

Why did God give us free will? If God wants us to love Him and follow Him, why did He give us the ability to choose disobedience, make mistakes, and even walk away from Him?

In Episode 9 of Kingdom Living Built on the Rock: Living with a Renewed Mind, we take an honest look at one of the most important questions in the Christian faith: Why did God give us free will?

God did not create us to be robots. He gave us the ability to choose. We can choose love or rejection, obedience or disobedience, light or darkness, life or death. But with freedom comes responsibility—and every choice we make carries consequences.

In this episode, we explore what the Bible teaches about:

    • Why true love cannot be forced
    • The difference between genuine obedience and forced obedience
    • Why God gives us the freedom to choose
    • How free will relates to sin, suffering, and the problem of evil
    • Why we cannot always blame Satan for the choices we make
    • The importance of taking responsibility for our decisions
    • What it means to willingly surrender our will to God
    • How to choose life, God's grace, and a renewed mind

Through Scriptures including Joshua 24:15, Genesis 2:16–17, Deuteronomy 30:19, and 1 John 4:8, we discuss the beautiful but weighty gift of freedom.

God does not force Himself upon us. He invites us. He gives us the opportunity to choose Him, to choose life, and to surrender our hearts to Him willingly.

If you are struggling with difficult choices, broken relationships, family problems, addiction, recovery, or finding the strength to move forward, this episode is a reminder that transformation is possible. You can renew your mind. You can break chains. You can make a different choice today.

    Jesus is the way.

Take a moment to reflect: What is one choice you can make today that brings you closer to God's will and God's grace?

Join us for this encouraging conversation as we continue learning how to build our lives on the Rock and live with a renewed mind.

Subscribe, follow, and share Kingdom Living Built on the Rock with someone who needs encouragement, hope, and a reminder that choosing God's way is always possible.

  • How Do I Know If I Am Really Saved? — Episode 11
    2026/08/18

How do I know if I am really saved? Is saying a prayer enough, or does true salvation produce a changed life?

In Episode 11 of Kingdom Living Built on the Rock: Living with a Renewed Mind, Kim Moreau and Tony Perez take on one of the most important questions a Christian can ask: Am I truly saved?

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 13:5 to “examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith.” But what should we actually look for when we examine our lives?

In this honest and challenging conversation, Kim and Tony walk through several important questions:

    • Do I have a genuine relationship with Jesus?
    • Is there spiritual fruit in my life?
    • Do I experience conviction when I sin?
    • Am I trusting in my own goodness instead of Christ?
    • Do I love God more than I love the world?
    • Has my heart and life truly begun to change?
    • Is Jesus merely my Savior, or is He also Lord of my life?

This episode explores salvation, faith, repentance, spiritual growth, obedience, the Holy Spirit, Christian living, and what it means to be a new creation in Christ.

You'll also hear an important reminder: being saved does not mean we will never make mistakes. Christians still struggle, fall short, and need God's grace. The difference is that the Holy Spirit brings conviction and calls us back to God as we continue growing in our relationship with Jesus.

Kim and Tony also talk about why reading the Bible matters, why Christians need a church community, why we must intentionally grow in our faith, and what it means to surrender our lives completely to Christ.

And at the end of the episode, they lead listeners in a prayer of salvation for anyone who is ready to give their life to Jesus.

If you've ever asked, “Am I really saved?” “How can I know I'm saved?” “What does true salvation look like?” or “Has my life really changed since I gave my life to Christ?”, this episode is for you.

Don't just say the prayer—live the life. Don't just know about Jesus—develop a relationship with Him.

Listen to Episode 11 of Kingdom Living Built on the Rock: Living with a Renewed Mind, and take a moment to honestly examine your faith.

If you prayed the prayer of salvation with us, leave a comment and let us celebrate with you!
