Being born again isn’t a one-time event. Jim and I have been experiencing over the many decades that being born again is a continuous, lifelong journey of becoming more like him. Paul said that being born again means all things become new and all of the old passes away. I don’t know about you but with me the new keeps coming and as the new comes in, the old way of thinking goes away.

You know you are maturing when your desires shift toward inner transformation rather than outward circumstances, you exhibit the Fruits of the Spirit (like patience and gentleness under pressure), and you naturally rely on His strength instead of your own. Today, we are going to take you to the doorway to your best life and what it looks like. At times it may look a little scary and unsettling, but you must be brave and push through to receive the best your life can be. If you do, you will enter the most powerful, authentic and fulfilling time of your life. If you feel restlessness, a quiet hunger, you are at the precipice of a major breakthrough.

What Does It Really Mean to Be Born Again? Pt2 Our Journey of Progressing in Christ
Part of being born again, or our spiritual awakening, is seeing how God is re-informing us. Reinform is a verb that means to inform again, update, or provide fresh information. If we need to be born again, then we need to remember things we forgot. We talked in earlier episodes about we are eternal beings and how we existed in his mind for eternity past and how everything we have been and will ever need is contained in us. He is bringing a remembrance of our true identity. Information is something always being put in you, right? It's forming you." God is reminding us of things we already know about him and ourselves.

Have you ever had a conversation with an old friend, and something comes up and you are reminded of something that happened a long time ago and you say, I forgot about that until you reminded me of that event or experience. Not only is God reminding us of things, he is using that reinforming to re-form us. Really, these things have already been formed in us. He helps us re-form so that it can actually bear substance in earth so that what we believe can actually be embodied or manifested.

Our Journey in Christ - What does it really mean to be born again? Pt 4

All we can do is share what we have observed and experienced and one thing we can all agree on is there are mixed signals and messages coming out of the modern church today. God is love, but only to a few individuals are saved. God has lower human emotions like jealousy, anger, and feels pain (not referring to Jesus earthly ministry); but he is the Almighty, all seeing, all knowing; God who knows everything that is going to happen before it happens and he still forgives, always shows grace and mercy and unconditional love. Unconditional love has no conditions on how he loves. Jesus said when you see me you have seen the father. The church needs to quit seeing God as anything other than a compassionate, accepting, and loving example of who we should be and are becoming and that is Jesus Christ.

Did Father Really Allow Jesus to Die to Appease his Anger? What is he angry about?
According to God, there is no sin. If God doesn’t remember sin, then why should we?
Propitiation is the act of appeasing or gaining the favor of a god, spirit, or a person, usually to avert anger or make amends for a wrong.

Propitiate is used to describe smoothing things over with someone you have offended, such as offering a gesture of goodwill to end a dispute.

Unconditional love never requires or needs to smooth things over to gain their acceptance and love. (Ted Bundy’s mom) All his despicable acts couldn’t deter a mother’s love. She hated what he did but she still loved him because he was her son. It is the same with our father.

What Does it Really Mean to be Born Again? Our journey of progressing in Christ
We can’t discuss being born again without bring up the meeting of Jesus and Nicodemus.
Jesus was not talking about physical rebirth; When he was talking to Nicodemus, Jesus was talking about a consciousness rebirth. Consciousness is the state of being aware of yourself and your surroundings.

What do we mean by Pre- Born Again - Our journey of progressing in Christ
Like we said in our introduction last week, We want to emphasize that this is a continuous, lifelong journey of becoming more like him. 2 Peter 3:18 says we are to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Eph 4:15 says grow to become mature.

In this series, we will be talking about our own personal testimony and our experiences as we walk this thing out.
