Like we said last week, whenever Jesus speaks of power, it is almost never external, we are to focus on the unseen, internal power of God. When it was external, like calming the storms, it had an inner, spiritual. and eternal meaning.
The path to awareness lies through inner stillness, silence and direct communion with the Christ in us.

Jesus practiced spiritual power when he would retreat from the people and spend time alone with Father God. If we would withdrawal and do the same before making any decisive acts, we would always make better decisions.

There is an expression "to awaken a sleeping giant". It means provoking a quiet, peaceful, or passive power that has massive hidden strength, causing it to react with overwhelming force. That is what happens in us when we are awakened to the Christ within. We are going to discuss today what that looks like.

1Cor 4:20 Mirror The Kingdom of God (the dominion of the Christ life) is about an empowered life and not just a matter of quoting your favorite teacher or scriptures.

Being what the church refers to a “born again” experience doesn’t necessarily mean that the sleeping giant is awakened. It is a good starting point. I believe that true awakening occurs when we divest ourselves of rituals, doctrines and traditions and begin to have an intimate relationship seeing him face to face or spirit to spirit. Am I saying that you can’t have an awakening with the power within if you go to church? No. I am saying that when Jesus becomes more important to you than your pastor and the church you belong to and God becomes your one and only focus, then we begin to really see that knowing him and ourselves better is the most important thing in this life and the result of that is love. Like Jesus said, love God and love your neighbor as yourself. 1 John 3:2 says, when you see him as I am, you will be like him.

1 John 3:2 Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.

Where does he appear? In us. Verse 1 in the Mirror says The performance based systems of this world just cannot see this!

The Living Expression of God Made Visible in Us

Don’t pray for something you already have, just receive it.

If Christ is revealed in us, which is what the Bible says, then a revelation is revealed, layer after layer. That tells me that there is so much more than what we are taught, We can’t ever get to the point where we think there isn’t more. So if our heart isn’t open to new revelation, we are going to miss out on what God has for us.

Today we are going to discuss revelation that God has shared with us, that may be revelation to you. Don’t close your mind or heart. Take what anyone says to the Lord, that may be something you have never heard before and he will sort it out with you.
John 1:9

That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

A new day for mankind came when Jesus came to earth and he enlightens every man, woman and child. The incarnation would make the image of God visible in human form. Human history would forever be divided into before Christ and after Christ.

Resurrection Life…living the resurrected life now

I used to believe you had to die to experience resurrection life. Then I realized that there was a spiritual resurrection.

Resurrected life is the only life God wants us to live. Any other life is fruitless and empty. We must choose which life we are going to lead. The resurrection life is a much higher and heavenly life than the fleshly, earthly life and we are hopefully going to share what it takes to live a resurrected life.
Mark 8

35 For if you let your (soulish) life go for my sake and for the sake of the gospel, you will continually experience true life (zoe). But if you choose to keep your (soulish) life for yourself, you will forfeit what you try to keep.
Paul states numerous times to be of one mind and that is the mind of Christ which leads us to the one and only life. As stated in Mark 8, zoe is the only life, the soulish life is a distraction and a lie. We must make a God exchange. Give up the counterfeit life for the genuine, abundant life.
Resurrection life is not a destination but an ongoing spiritual and physical journey. It challenges us to remain open to the unexpected, to find beauty in imperfection, and to see every ending as the prelude to a new beginning.
It is an awakening to the life we have always had but were not aware of. This life can also be called the abundant life or the eternal life.

Awareness of Your oneness – Union with God

Many are seeking without what’s already within.

One, is the origin of all things and the cause of all things. There is one Spirit; one principle of life, love, intelligence, and goodness in, through, and over all. There is but one Mind (Christ). One presence and one power--God, Spirit, is the only presence in the universe, and is the only power. He is in, through, and around all creation as its life and sustaining power. -God is the one Spirit-Mind in which all ideas of life, love, substance, intelligence, and power originate.

union with God--Unification of our consciousness with that of God-Mind. This is the Christ consciousness. "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30).

Consciousness, then, is not merely an awareness of our existence but an alignment with the divine essence that permeates all creation. To awaken to this consciousness is to recognize that we are not separate from the Source but eternally connected, sustained, and empowered by it. This divine consciousness, often termed the Christ consciousness, transcends the illusions of self and connects us to the universal truth: that we are one with Spirit, one with God.

In this state of divine awareness, the boundaries of individuality dissolve, revealing a harmonious flow where our thoughts, actions, and intentions align with the greater will of God. It is through this union of consciousness that the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, and patience—naturally manifest, enriching not only our lives but also the lives of those around us.

The only real unity is in Spirit. It is found nowhere else because personality always strives for its own success and aims for the good of the personal man, instead of the good of all men.

The River of Life Within

Psalm 4:4 TPB

God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams

bring joy and delight to his people.

His river flows right through the city of God Most High,

into his holy dwelling places.

We all know that we are the dwelling place (tabernacle) of God and his river or spirit flows through us 24/7.

Rev 21:3

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

The definition of tabernacle is a movable temple of God. Moses would have to move the tabernacle every time the cloud moved. What a great type and shadow of thousands of years later Jesus said that we are the temple of God.

The river of life flows through each one of us. His spirit dwells in us. Jesus said I will not leave you without providing a comforter and councilor to lead you and direct your path. The current of the river of life will take us where we need to go. So don’t worry or fret. Let not your heart be troubled.

The Mysteries of the Kingdom

Don’t you want to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven? Jesus said that we are to know the mysteries of the kingdom. Why do some teach that mystical or mysteries are things we should stay away from?
Why is there so much division in the westernized church today? You might say there is division in the body of Christ, because there are so many different beliefs about God and the Bible. That’s true but why can’t we all respect other’s view, even if it isn’t the way my church believes. Think about your walk with the Lord, do you believe exactly as you believed years ago? I hope not, because we should be progressing to a higher calling in him and as we progress, God will reveal himself line upon line, here a little and there a little. The more Jesus is revealed in us, be prepared, things are going to change in our beliefs.

Let’s discuss a beautiful mystery that has been hidden for a very long time but is now revealed to all and that is the oneness of Christ in us and us in Christ. With oneness comes the ability to know the mysteries.

This topic is a very difficult topic to discuss, because we don’t want to think that a loving God could curse his people. We are going to dig into this and hopefully bring some clarity to the topic of blessings and curses.

We have a good idea of what blessings are, but do we have a clear understanding of what a curse is?

As a young person, I had always thought that if I was a bad boy, God would hurt or punish me and if I was good, he would reward me. I was afraid of him. Now I am not saying that some of that isn’t true, but as I got to know him better, things changed and I realized that he knew every mistake I was going to make before I made it but I started to realize that his love wasn’t conditional on my behavior.
God is love, and God's law of love cannot be broken. Man brings evil on himself by not obeying the law. Jesus redeemed mankind from the ancient curse of Jehovah, but men are themselves responsible for avoiding transgression of the law. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law" (Gal. 3:13).
Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law.
