Jesus felt (and feels) strongly about what we look at with our eyes as men. So crucial to Him was this topic that He used His first sermon to address the dangers of Lust and Adultery.

Many assume they will one day hear Jesus say to them, "Well done, Good and Faithful Servant", but Jesus warns us that there will be some who expect those words but will instead hear "Depart from Me, you evil doers".

When Adam and Eve sinned against God, God confronted them. He did not say, "How dare you sin against me!" or "I cannot believe you?!". God asked a question - He asked, "Where are you?". He was asking not where they were geographically, but where they were in relationship to Him.

The Holy Spirit is an equal part of the holy Trinity. He is not the "errand boy" for God. He is God, and in Jesus' absence, the Holy Spirit ministers to His people.

Jesus promised us that "In this life you will have tribulations." You may be in such a time, just coming out of one or about to enter one. King Jehoshaphat stood before God in such a time and said, "Lord, I do not know what to do, but my eyes are on you." This made all the difference and serves as a reminder and model for us.
