We visit Louisville’s only state park. We see a funky bridge and continue to collect gazebos. It is a typesite of a recreational park.

This was amazing. I’m a huge fan of extinct animals. If you don’t like pioneers or the civil war, this might be the only historical park you’ll enjoy. The Museum is great.

Here we go to Taylorsville Lake. I think lakes are going to start to get boring, if anyone has any suggestions of how to keep them interesting, just email me.

This is where I camped for a couple of nights. I can’t get over just how nice this park is. It’s not amazing, it won’t blow your socks off, but it’s really nice.

This was a hard one. I tried to acknowledge the impact this man had on history, but I didn’t want to seem to glorify him. I wouldn’t be worried about seeming to glorify him if there weren’t people out there actually glorifying him. Anyway, I talk about this all I want to in the episode.

When you see something that looks interesting pull over and see it. I almost didn’t go here, because I wasn’t that interested in The Everly Brothers, but there is so much more here.

Dawson Springs was hit very hard by a tornado recently. I haven’t really looked into what has survived the devastation. I kind of don’t want to know. I am most worried about the baseball field. I’m glad to have visited when I did. I think it is a great town to visit.

We’re visiting the Pennyrile forest and trying to avoid some bugs. This is the first time we visit a state park lodge. They are wonderful if you ever get the chance to visit.
