Episode 128: Matt and Taylor are joined by Derrick Sabourin.

Derrick is a Managing Partner of Samson Waters Vacation Rentals from Vernon, BC, a property management and optimization service for short-term rentals across Mexico and the Okanagan.

A former high school teacher of English and Spanish, Derrick realized he wasn't as fulfilled in that career path as he wanted to be. After a talk with his cousins, who founded Samson Waters, he moved to Mexico from Manitoba, thus starting his real estate journey. After a year, he decided to follow them to the Okanagan, and has been steadily growing their short-term rentals portfolio ever since.
