Treating clients with due care, empathy and respect is crucial to building the type of relationship that can help them achieve success. That being said, it can be hard to stay objective and supportive when dealing with challenging behaviors of the relatively few clients and not have that affect how the vast majority of families just trying to make ends meet are treated.
