Back in September 2025 BIY put on another spectacular live show, Prove Your

Passion Live ’25, giving entry level folks the frankly awesome opportunity to meet

experienced industry execs to talk music business careers hints, tips and advice IRL!

As part of the day, I hosted some super insightful, engaging and practical panels, so

we’re bringing you a couple of those panels right here you lucky LUCKY people! For

this conversation I chatted with the brilliant Ellie Best from RCA, Jess Kangalee from

Good Energy PR, and Breyner Baptista from Blackstar Agency. Full transparency,

we were meant to talk about the plethora of different sorts of roles at labels, but we

barely even scratched the surface! We touch on promo, plugging and campaign

support though, so YAY!!
