Just David follows the enchanting journey of a 10-year-old boy named David, who is suddenly uprooted from his serene, music-filled life in the mountains with his father to the vibrant chaos of a small rural town. David has been nurtured to appreciate the beauty of the world around him, from the vivid hues of sunsets to the humble potato bug. With a heart full of goodness and love, he struggles to connect with the townspeople, who find it hard to grasp his unique perspective. Much like Pollyanna, this tale showcases how Davids unwavering spirit, courage, and joy gradually transform the lives of those he encounters, opening their eyes to the extraordinary wonders of everyday life—like majestic pine trees and playful frogs. - Summary by phil chenevert
