Take a look back at one of our early first eps!

2025 and Stranger Things have come to an end. Before we look ahead to the awesomeness of 2026 we wanted to look back and just have a JAFN style discussion about some of our fave things from this past year. From comics to movies, shows and moments that made our cut to discuss. What were the moments for you? Let us know in the chat!

It's been too long since we all talked so in the words of our buds over at Now Watch This - we're baaaaack! We got Joe in the house to talk current events and all the things on your mind!

Remember that show “Into the Badlands”? Yeah, we don’t either but if that show was about the Predator and the things going on in this flick we’d have been huge fans! Hot on the heels of Killer of Killers comes the latest installment from the Predator franchise with Predator: Badlands. Now we don’t have to tell you initial reactions to the this seemed poor but since its release we’ve heard nothing but the positive reviews save a handful. So tonight we will head into the Badlands (see what we did there?) to give you our take! Yautja Clan out!

In his 2025 Netflix film FRANKENSTEIN, del Toro puts his own unique brand on the classic tale. Coupled with performances from Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth and Christoph Waltz this version of the monster tale may be the best since the original with Boris Karloff. Step into madness with as we discuss a modern masterpiece!

Science Fiction. Fantasy. Two great genres of film, that have given us some of the greatest heroes and villains of - well of all-time! Where does Just Another Friday Night stand on it all? Well your old pals Adamantium Adam & CM Chuck are here to tell you their favorites! Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Conan and more of all of your faves and ours. It’s the season 11 kickoff! And tonight it’s Just Another SATURDAY Night!!!

If Marvel and DC are the big 2 and Superman and Spidey represent them then Image Comics is certainly number 3 and representing them would most certainly be Todd McFarlanes’ 1992 creation SPAWN. The story of government assassin Al Simmons and his deal with the devil that made him into Hellspawn caught the eye of HBO Animation in the late 90s. Tonight we take a look at season 1 so turn out your lights!!

As Jim Morrison from The Doors sings “This is the end, my only friend, the end…” it got us thinking on this particular October evening…What’s scarier than the apocalypse itself? Not the X-Men villain, though En Sabah Nur is pretty terrifying. We’re talking about the end of times and the dystopian aftermath! Think Mad Max, The Walking Dead, The Book Eli, The Road, The Terminator, The Matrix. What happens when society as we know collapses? Be it aliens or machines or zombies - nuclear holocaust? Where would you go? Are you a survivor? Would turn full Negan or are you more of a Katniss Everdeen? Let’s chat about it!
