On today's episode we are speaking with Dr. Carleen Vincent-Robinson! Dr. Vincent is a teaching professor and associate chair in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs. Within the past year, Dr. Vincent-Robinson served as a panelist for a teach-in entitled "How to Understand and Deal with Gun Violence," interviewed Yusef Salaam, one of the Central Park (now, Exonerated) Five, served as a panelist in the "I Can't Breathe" town hall moderated by NBC 6's Willard Shepard, and moderated many more discussions around DEI at FIU. Currently, Dr. Vincent-Robinson is a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, Career Readiness Council, Academic Integrity Committee, SIPA Student Success Team, MLK Commemorative Celebration Committee, and Women Who Lead Conference Planning Committee.
