  • Taking Another Lap // Jeff Fuchs
    2026/10/12

Take Another Lap — what do you do when you’ve taken a step of faith, but nothing seems to change? When prayers feel unanswered and obstacles remain, how do you keep trusting God?

In this message from Journey Church, we explore Joshua and the walls of Jericho in Joshua 6. For six days, the Israelites kept walking without seeing the walls move. Their story reminds you that the first step takes courage, but continuing to trust God takes perseverance.

If you’re waiting for change in your marriage, finances, relationships, or spiritual life, this message offers encouragement to keep taking the next faithful step.

    You’ll discover:
    • Why taking a step of faith can lead to another obstacle
    • How to trust God when you don’t see results yet
    • The difference between courageous faith and persevering faith
    • Why following God means releasing control of the outcome
    • What it means to keep walking and leave nothing undone

You may not see what God is doing yet. Joshua couldn’t either—but he kept walking. Whatever wall you’re facing, consider the next step God is calling you to take.

This week, identify one area where you’re tempted to give up. Keep praying, keep showing up, and take another lap.

    📖 Scripture: Joshua 6; Joshua 11:15

  • How To Trust God When You Don't Know What's Next
    2026/10/05

How to trust God when you don't know what's next can feel especially difficult when life isn’t going according to plan. You want clarity. You want answers. You want to know how everything is going to work out—but sometimes, God doesn’t show you what’s next.

So how do you trust Him when you can’t see the way forward?

In this message, we look at what it means to trust God in seasons of uncertainty. You don’t have to understand the entire plan to take your next step. And you don’t have to pretend you’re not afraid in order to have faith.

    You’ll discover:

    • How to trust God when the future feels uncertain
    • Why you don’t need all the answers to take your next step
    • What to do when fear and uncertainty start taking over
    • How God can guide you even when you can’t see the whole path
    • Why trusting God is about who you know, not what you know

Maybe you’re facing a decision, walking through a transition, waiting for an answer, or simply wondering what comes next. You may not get a roadmap for everything ahead—but you can learn to trust the One who is already there.

You don’t have to figure out your entire future today. Focus on the next step God is putting in front of you, and trust Him with what you can’t see yet.

God is FOR you—even in the uncertainty. And you don’t have to navigate what’s next alone.

  • The Kind of Church Our Communities Are Waiting For // Sean Badeer
    2026/09/28

The Kind of Church Our Communities Are Waiting For asks a bigger question than whether church still matters: What kind of church does your community actually need?

People around you are searching for hope, real friendships, and a sense of purpose. And while many may feel disconnected from church, that doesn’t mean they’ve stopped searching for something more.

In this message, guest speaker Sean Badeer shares a vision for the kind of church our communities are waiting for—a church that is Jesus-centered, others-focused, and outward-facing.

    You’ll discover:

    • Why spiritual hunger can exist even when people feel disconnected from church
    • How Jesus offers hope in the middle of uncertainty and hopelessness
    • Why real relationships require us to “cover the distance” toward others
    • How serving your community can change you, too
    • Why an outward-facing church gives people opportunities to find purpose
    • How God may be inviting you to move toward people you wouldn’t normally move toward

Following Jesus isn’t about waiting for people to come to us. It’s about meeting people where they are, building genuine relationships, bringing peace, and showing them through our lives that God is FOR them.

    So ask yourself:

Where is God inviting you to move with Him?

Who could you invite, encourage, serve, or simply get to know?

The kind of church our communities are waiting for begins when ordinary people choose to move toward others with the hope and love of Jesus.

    📖 Scripture: Romans 15:13; 1 Corinthians 9:22–23; Ephesians 3:10–11
