In this last episode on peace, we talk about that true peace must be received and lived out before it can be proclaimed to a world still fighting a war that Jesus has already won. We are called to carry the good news of Christ's peace to those around us, letting our transformed lives and simple testimonies become the beautiful feet that bring hope to people still hiding in the jungle of their own striving.

Today, we look at how Christ's peace must rule in our hearts like an umpire or deciding authority, calling us to step into the work of peacemaking and build unity in the body of Christ so the enemy cannot exploit our division. For this, we should pursue harmony and holiness without grumbling, actively repair broken relationships through prayer and humility, and lock our shields together as one formation under the protection of Christ. Having God's peace in our lives is the only way we can truly become peacemakers in the church and to the rest of the world.

In this episode, we build off of the last one that talked about our firm footing in Christ. From there peace spreads to protect more of our lives in Christ. God's peace stands guard over our hearts like a sentry, protecting us from the anxiety that tries to infiltrate our lives and steer us off course. We want you to learn to rest in His promises, pray through your worries with thanksgiving, and walk forward in joy knowing we fight from victory, not for it.

We are back from a vacation break and are continuing our look at the shoes with how our peace stands firm on the victory Jesus has already won rather than on our shifting circumstances or fragile plans. We learn to surrender our strategies to God's will, capture anxious thoughts with Christ's triumph, and share His peace with others who feel pinned down by their trials.

Today, we start our deeper look at the shoes of peace from Ephesians 6:15, learning that true spiritual readiness comes from being made right with God through Christ so we can stand firm on any terrain life throws at us. We also discover that this peace is not just for our own stability but sends us outward as messengers, carrying the good news to a world starving for the hope we have been given.

We close out our five-episode walkthrough of the breastplate of righteousness by exploring how Christ's righteousness, not our own performance, protects our vital center and keeps us standing firm against the enemy's attacks. We also practice spiritual pre-combat checks and inspections to make sure we are wearing the issued breastplate of Christ and have not slipped into self-righteousness.

As we look deeper at this piece, we explore how the breastplate of righteousness does more than protect us from the enemy; it actively guides our decisions, relationships, and daily steps when we surrender our own plans to God's purpose. We also walk through practical pre combat checks for the week, inviting each other to examine where we are still clinging to self effort and to let His righteousness steer every choice we make.

In this episode, we want to talk about how the breastplate of righteousness, received through faith in Christ, must flow outward into our daily actions as we build others up, forgive freely, and live as a testimony under pressure. We close with practical pre-combat checks and inspections for the week, calling each of us to examine our hearts, act in love, and walk together as believers covered by the finished work of Jesus.
