We often think about what Jesus' death means to us, but have your ever thought what Jesus' death meant to Him?
At the close of John chapter 14, the night before our Savior went to the cross, it functioned in many ways like a 'last will and testament.' The Lord Jesus' pulled back the curtains of His heart and shared with the disciples and to us today a brief glimpse of what His impending death meant to Him.
It meant a time of GREAT REJOICING, a time of GREAT PROMISES FULFILLED, a time of GREAT VICTORY SECURED, and also it was the GREAT PROOF of the LOVE of JESUS, not only for us, but for the Heavenly Father!
1. It meant… Great Rejoicing!
2. Great Promises Fulfilled!
3. A Great Victory Secured!
4. And A Great Proof of Love… not only for us… but for the Father!
