  • A Tribute to Ms. Dorothy: When Love Doesn't End
    2026/07/01

Every once in a while, someone enters your life and quietly changes it forever.

In this heartfelt episode, I share the story of my dear friend, Ms. Dorothy, whose friendship became one of the greatest gifts of my life. We talked on the phone almost every day, shared countless conversations, and through it all she reminded me of one simple message: Have faith.

This episode is my tribute to her, but it's also for anyone who has loved and lost someone special. Together we'll reflect on the people who shape our lives, the memories they leave behind, and the ways their love continues long after they're gone.

The episode also includes a short, guided meditation, a weekly affirmation, journal prompts, and blessings to help you honor someone who still holds a special place in your heart.

  • Who Are You When You’re Not Chasing Anything?
    2026/06/11

For most of my life, I felt like I was working toward something. There was always a goal, a plan, or a next step that needed my attention.

Lately, I’ve been paying attention differently. Instead of constantly asking, “What’s next?” I’ve found myself focusing more on what’s happening right now.

In this episode, I reflect on how little of life actually unfolded according to the timeline I imagined, why I’m becoming more comfortable with unanswered questions, and what it means to trust the process when the next chapter isn’t fully clear.

If you’ve ever felt pressure to have everything figured out, this conversation is for you.

  • How To Trust Your Intuition
    2026/04/09

In this episode of the Jo Willow Rose Podcast, we explore the power of intuition through both science and real-life experience.

Intuition is often described as a “gut feeling,” but research shows it is far more than that. Psychologist Daniel Kahneman, in his book “Thinking, Fast and Slow”, explains how our brains use what he calls System 1 thinking, a fast, automatic process that draws from patterns and past experiences to guide decisions without conscious effort.

Neuroscientist Antonio Damasio, in “Descartes’ Error”, introduces the Somatic Marker Hypothesis, showing that our bodies store emotional memories and use them to influence decision-making. What we feel physically such as a sense of ease or discomfort, can be an important signal guiding us toward or away from certain choices.

In addition, neuroscientist John-Dylan Haynes and his team at the Max Planck Institute demonstrated that the brain can begin forming decisions seconds before we become consciously aware of them, highlighting that intuitive processing happens beneath the surface of our awareness.

Through the story of Mary, this episode brings these ideas to life. Her quiet inner knowing that something was no longer aligned reflects how the brain and body work together to recognize patterns, process experiences, and guide us toward better outcomes.

This episode is a reminder that intuition is not random or unreliable. It is informed by your lived experiences, supported by science, and available to you at all times.

When you learn to trust it, you begin to move with greater clarity, confidence, and alignment.
