Ask yourself this week: Have I been baptized in water since choosing to follow Christ? If not, what’s stopping me?

Also, take time to evaluate your community and connections. Are you surrounded by light, being the light (not letting it be dimmed or put out) or are you trying to blend in with darkness? Remember: You’re set apart. Act like it.

But in this passage, He is also confronting those who have a certain perception of "goodness". True goodness is only found in Him and living a life without Him will leave us feeling empty. Are you willing to let go of idols and certain ways of thinking that may be hindering your walk with God? Are you willing to give it all up for Him?
