Filmmaker James Motluk joins Ryan to share how his family discovered that his grandfather had been interned in Canada during the First World War, something his grandfather never revealed. James explains how this discovery became Jajo’s Secret and led him to preserve more stories of the Ukrainian Canadian experience.
Produced by Armistice Films and Guerrilla Films for the Internment Museum of Canada 1914 to 1920, with support from the Shevchenko Foundation of Canada, Kontakt Ukrainian Television Network and the Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival.
