 The reflections of a man who served a life sentence in UK prisons. Convicted of murder, while I served my sentence I wrote a Blog in prison. These blogs were a mix of anecdotes, events, observations and introspection. I reflected on my life, my crime and how to repair the broken human I had become. Now, having achieved parole, I revisit those blogs and reflect on the lessons learned and how my life and beliefs have changed in the years since.     When I was convicted of murder I was sentenced to Life imprisonment. I had a minimum tariff imposed - a sentence I would have to serve in custody before I could be considered for parole. Even then, I had to prove that I was sufficiently changed and safe to be released back in to the community. I revisit the www.jailhousemoose.wordpress.com blog reflecting on my first parole hearing and look back having achieved my parole.
