🎬 What happens when you turn your childhood passion into your career?

This week on Goodfellerz, Clarke and Shaun are joined by Jack Cooke, founder of Beyond Films, for an inspiring and entertaining conversation about filmmaking, entrepreneurship, career changes and following your dreams.

Jack takes us right back to where it all began — watching films as a child, experimenting with a home video camera and recreating famous scenes with his brothers.

We hear how an unexpected meeting with Andrew Lincoln, known for The Walking Dead and Love Actually, helped open doors in the television industry.

But Jack's career was anything but straightforward.

From working in television to leaving the industry, becoming a personal trainer, travelling around Australia with his wife Kate and eventually rediscovering his passion for filmmaking, Jack shares the experiences that shaped his journey.

We also discuss:

🎥 Breaking into the film and television industry
🎬 The art of storytelling and video production
💼 Building Beyond Films from the ground up
💷 Understanding your value as a business owner
❤️ Following your passion despite setbacks
🌏 Travel, family and changing career paths
🚀 The importance of creativity, persistence and taking opportunities

Jack also shares how his wife encouraged him to return to filmmaking and how a small creative project eventually developed into the business he runs today.

🥤 Drinks of the Week: We swap our usual beer review for a tasting of TRIP drinks, trying Blood Orange, Apple Blossom and Elderflower & Mint.

It's a conversation full of fascinating stories, business advice, unexpected career twists and classic Goodfellerz banter.
