It Is Bentley’s World Podcast Hi, I’m Bentley’s mom. This is the podcast I wish I’d found during our first hospital stay. Bentley is autistic, he also has ADHD, and lives with complex medical needs. Around here, our normal includes hospital bracelets, IEP meetings, sensory meltdowns at 2am, and celebrating when he finally sleeps 3 hours straight. Every week, I open up about what our world really looks like: The appointments, meds, and decisions no one prepares you for PDA, elopement, feeding struggles, and the therapies that actually help Marriage, grief, burnout, and protecting my own mental health as a medical mom The joy, sass, and “peace sign in the hospital bed” moments that keep us going This isn’t a clinical guide. It’s one mom, one incredible boy, and the truth of special needs life without the Pinterest filter. Your story belongs here too. If you’re a mom, dad, or caregiver to a child with autism, ADHD, medical complexity, or rare diagnosis — I want to hear from you. There will be multiple episode a month for you to share your voice and tell your story here. How to share your story: DM me “YOUR STORY” on Instagram/TikTok @ItIsBentley.sworld Or email hello@Indiacgriffin@gmail.com with 2-3 sentences about what you’d share We record together from your phone. 30 min, no prep needed. Yoga pants + messy bun approved. You don’t need a platform. You don’t need perfect words. If you’ve lived it, you qualify. Subscribe for new episodes every Tuesday.
