From the moment a girl is born, the rules are already different. The expectations are different, the standards are different and somehow, no matter what she does or does not do, the judgment follows her everywhere.
In this episode we had one of the most honest and uncomfortable conversations we have had on this podcast. We talked about the way women are conditioned from a young age to carry shame that was never theirs to carry, how society applies one set of rules to women and looks the other way for men, and why the older and more aware a woman becomes the more threatening she is to certain people.
We also got into the way women are judged for the way they look, the way they dress and the choices they make, while the men who cause the most damage somehow always find their way to the altar. The double standards are not subtle, they are loud, they are consistent and they have been normalized for so long that most people do not even question them anymore.
listen now and tell us in the comments, do you think society was ever really built with women in mind?
