Iron Sharpens Iron is a half-hour Bible study for Christians who want more than a sermon, they want a conversation. Every Saturday night from 6:30 to 7:00pm, listeners are invited to call in, ask questions, and dig into scripture together at (925) 272-9863.

In this episode, we dive into the significance of family lineages from Adam through the appointed seed, examining how these genealogies reveal God's ultimate plan of salvation. We'll explore the story of Cain and Abel, the appointment of Seth, and trace the lineage through Enosh, Mahalalel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, and Lamech—understanding why these individuals matter to the broader narrative of Scripture.

Whether you're a seasoned Bible student or just beginning to explore Scripture, Pastor Wayne breaks down these often-skipped passages to help you appreciate the Word of God like the Bereans did, searching the Scriptures daily and deeply. Learn why genealogies aren't just lists of names, but a roadmap to understanding God's plan of redemption.

Have a question about a Scripture passage? Call (925) 272-9863 or email newhopebiblefellowshipca@gmail.com to join the Berean community and discuss the Word with Pastor Wayne Carroll.
