概要
Arleen Tydall: Crossing the Bridge Between Pharmacy & Conscious Parenting
For over 25 years, Arleen has served as a trauma-informed clinical HIV pharmacist, caring for and educating thousands of patients from marginalized, cross-cultural communities facing discrimination, poverty, homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. Her work included sharing care with Dr. Gabor Maté’s patients in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, where he developed his Compassionate Inquiry principles, and collaborating with a diverse team of nurses, outreach and social workers, and harm reduction experts like Dr. Mark Tyndall. She began to sense a disconnect within herself, striving for perfection at work while struggling as a mother at home. Her self-study of Conscious Parenting evolved into a passion to help mothers heal generational patterns and build connection in their families. Leaving her pharmacy career to train with Dr. Shefali, Oprah’s favourite parenting expert, she now advocates for children as our greatest teachers.
During a two-year spiritual awakening in Bali, her mother’s birthplace, she ignited a new Conscious Parenting movement at The Green School and trained in Somatic Alignment to strengthen her mind-body-spirit connection.
Today, as a co-author of the #1 international bestseller The Perfectly Imperfect Family, a featured presenter at the Happily Family Online Conference with over 118,000 attendees, and a global speaker, she guides parents on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.
Now based in North Vancouver, surrounded by nature, she's building a local and global community through vulnerable storytelling and practical tools, helping mothers see their children as awakeners and create compassionate, emotionally connected families.
