On this week's edition of Inside the Nest we welcome one of Saint Joseph's men's basketball's all-time greats, Langston Galloway '14, to the pod. He talks about his first impressions of the new facilities on Hawk Hill – and what it was like to get a shoutout from the Mayor of New York during the Knicks' championship parade – before delving into his road from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to becoming a professional athlete. Along the way, he shares some of his favorite memories from his time on Hawk Hill, his journey to the NBA, playing with All-Stars Chris Paul and Devin Booker in Phoenix, playing professionally in Europe, and representing the United States on the court.
Langston also talks about how his time at Saint Joseph's has impacted what he's done off the court, including starting a charitable foundation and an apparel brand, before answering a few not-so-rapid fire questions to close out the show.
You can find episodes of Inside the Nest when they're released on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and SJUHawks.com/podcasts.
