Welcome to The Executive Podcast, the show where we talk to the individuals behind-the-scenes of successful businesses who will provide us with valuable insights, tips, and the unique perspectives which have fueled both their successes and challenges.

In this episode of the Executive Podcast, we welcome Laura from Innes & Mackay, a firm of solicitors and estate agents specialising in family, private, and property law. Laura shares her unique career path, which includes taking an alternative route to becoming a solicitor while balancing being a single mother.

We explore how the firm has adapted to modern challenges, and the importance of supporting local businesses. Laura highlights the firm's commitment to fostering local talent and the community in the Highlands, and discusses current issues and recruitment challenges. We also cover Innes & Mackay's 150 year history and their ethos of promoting local support and a positive work-life balance.
