Anthony Guido, better known as Anthonygtattoos on social media, is a veteran tattoo artist with 25 years of experience in the industry. Based in New York’s Hudson Valley, Anthony brings a traditional fine-art background to tattooing, including four years of formal art school and experience as traditional art painter and illustrator.
Over more than two decades, he’s developed a reputation for versatility, working across everything from bold color and watercolor to black-and-grey, fine line, cover-ups, and large-scale custom pieces. His approach has always been rooted in the fundamentals—clean linework, strong saturation, smooth blends, solid composition, and, most importantly, creating tattoos that stand the test of time.
Anthony began tattooing long before Instagram, TikTok, and social media became such a major part of the industry, giving him a unique perspective on how tattooing has evolved—from the way artists learn the craft to how they build their careers and connect with clients today.
Currently tattooing at Mackenzie’s Tattoo industry Carmel NY, Anthony continues to push his artwork and evolve while sharing nearly a quarter-century of experience in an industry that has changed dramatically around him.
