Nancy Gossell is the liason for The Weavers Guild at the Minnesota State Fair. The Weavers Guild of Minnesota has been demonstrating every year since 1952 at the Minnesota State Fair. They educate people on how to spin and weave through a variety of techniques, using different types of looms and spinning wheels, in the Creative Activities Building.

Behind the scenes stories with three different MN State Fair competitors!

16-year-old Charley Kietzman participates in both 4H and FFA, and will be at the fair all 12 days with dairy cattle!

Maggie Engel has a cottage bakery and is entering cookies and bread in professional baking categories in Creative Activities, and also in Bee & Honey.

Shayna Rutledge enters crochet items in Creative Activities, and also made a crocheted honeycomb corset to enter in a Bee & Honey creative arts category!

Look for their competition results when you visit the fair!
