    2025/10/07
Former Cork manager John Meyler joins Michael for this week's edition of the Indo GAA podcast, ahead of a fundraiser for his former Kilmoyley starlet Tim O’Brien. Tim's life changed forever after a road accident in 2010 left him paralysed from the neck down at just 18. A talented underage hurler, Tim has faced unimaginable challenges with courage and determination. After years living at home with his late parents, who were his devoted carers, Tim now resides in a care facility in Galway. His family are currently working to bring him back home to North Kerry. As part of that effort, a special fundraising hurling match featuring a host of inter-county stars and legends will take place in Kilmoyley on October 25th. You can support the campaign and find out more at idonate.ie/crowdfunder/HurlingforTim. On today's podcast, John also delves into the year that was for the Cork senior hurling team, the recriminations which followed, and what the future looks like under Ben O'Connor.
