  • Football: ‘Puke football’ line was unfair on Tyrone | Meath could get routed if they’re not careful | Pat Spillane & Dick Clerkin
    2025/07/09
It’s All-Ireland semi-finals week and Pat Spillane and Dick Clerkin join Michael to see which of Kerry, Tyrone, Donegal and Meath will make it to the dance floor. The Kerry/Tyrone rivalry is a big one and sets the scene for Saturday’s clash, with Pat making an admission about one of his most famous Sunday Game moments. On the field, we ask if Kerry have the star power to last, or if Tyrone will bring the right kind of disrespect that has served them so well against Kerry in the past. As for Sunday’s semi, Dick fears that Meath could be routed, but question-marks still remain over Donegal and whether their game-plan will be set up right to maximise their opportunity. Limerick v Kildare in the Tailteann Cup is also on the menu, and Pat pays tribute to Dublin’s 1974 All-Ireland-winning football captain Seán Doherty, who has died at the age of 78. • Hurling: Tipp’s buy-in to Liam Cahill | How did nobody cop the wrong score? | Eddie Brennan
    2025/07/08
Eddie Brennan joins Michael after a thriller clash that saw Tipperary knock off Eddie’s native Kilkenny, though not without controversy. The lads get into the real winning and losing of the game, including Tipperary’s intensity, the buy-in to Liam Cahill’s vision and whether Kilkenny’s brain trust is being used right. But of course, there’s plenty to get into with Scoregate - and the disaster that could have been if Kilkenny got that last-gasp goal. The question is - how did everyone miss it? Meanwhile, Cork also booked their All-Ireland final spot with some sensational skill, the lads ask if Dublin was naive and how Cork’s hunger will translate to the decider. 2025/07/02
Indo GAA’s own Michael Verney is joined by Pat Spillane and Dick Clerkin on the line to discuss the blockbuster weekend that saw eight teams reduced to four in the gaelic football quarter finals.
