A quick vocabulary lesson with plot-related terms. Plot Structure, plot devices, and plot beats are all important terms to know if you're new to writing or returning to writing after an absence. Do you need to use these terms in your daily writing? Absolutely not, but it definitely doesn't hurt to be aware of them and what they mean.
