  • InSURT 🎙️ Grief & Growth: Part 2 — What Happens After the Stages
    2025/12/03

Welcome back to Part 2 of our deep conversation on grief here on InSURT. In this episode, we pick up right where we left off — talking about what it really feels like to live with grief day by day. Because the truth is, even after you understand the Kübler-Ross stages, the process doesn’t magically get easier.

Today we talk about: • How grief still shows up unexpectedly • The emotional “aftershocks” that come long after the loss • What moving forward looks like when you’re not fully okay • Giving yourself permission to heal slowly, gently, and honestly • How you can circle back through denial, anger, or sadness and still be growing

This is straight-up REAL TALK — no pretending, no rushing, no masking the pain. Just truth, grace, and the reminder that healing doesn’t come with a deadline. You move forward when you’re ready, and in the way that makes sense for your spirit.

If you’re grieving in any form — a person, a relationship, a job, a moment, or even a version of yourself — Part 2 is here to remind you: you’re not alone, you’re not weak, and you’re allowed to heal at your own pace. ❤️‍🩹✨

  • InSURT 🎙️ Life Changes, Losses & Lessons: My Real Talk on Grief
    2025/12/02

In this emotional and honest episode of InSURT, we dive into the everyday reality of navigating grief — what it looks like, what it feels like, and how “managing” it is often a day-by-day effort. 😔💭

We break down why grief isn’t a straight line, why it shows up differently for everyone, and why it’s okay to move forward in your own time, without rushing or pretending you’re “over it.” ⏳💛

This episode also explores the Kübler-Ross grief cycleDenial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance — and how these stages aren’t steps you complete, but emotional spaces you may move in and out of as life unfolds. 🔄✨

We talk about how grief can come from many places:

    • Loss of a person
    • Loss of a job
    • Loss of a relationship
    • Loss of a dream or opportunity
    • Loss of a version of yourself …because grief isn’t limited to death — it’s any moment your life shifts in a way you didn’t ask for. 🌫️

This conversation is about honesty, healing, and giving yourself grace as you figure out what moving forward looks like for you. ❤️‍🩹

  • InSURT 🎙️ Our Quiet Thanksgiving: Me, My Granddaughter & Real Gratitude
    2025/12/01

In today’s episode of InSURT: STR8T UP REAL TALK, I’m sharing how my Thanksgiving really went this year. Even though the rest of my family was out of town, I still spent the day wrapped in love — just me and my granddaughter enjoying a peaceful, simple, and heart-filled holiday together.

I actually recorded this episode on Thanksgiving, but I’m dropping it today on December 1st — life happens, but the gratitude is still fresh. We talk about family, the importance of slowing down, and how the smallest moments can mean the most.

If you’ve ever had a quiet holiday, a different kind of holiday, or a holiday that reminded you what really matters… this episode is for you.
