It's the week of Halloween! It's Halloweek! To celebrate the best holiday on the calendar we are listing and talking about the movies that put us in the Halloween mood without being explicitly Halloween movies. For the third week of October, we are talking about maybethe greatest love letter to Halloween ever made, Trick r’ Treat! Multiple stories weave together in a fictional small town that really knows how to embrace the spooky season. All of it unfolding under the watchful eye of Sam, the spirit (or maybe the enforcer?) of Halloween. It didn’t initially get the release that it deserved but has earned its place as a Halloween classic.

This week we talk about Pumpkinhead! The late, great Stan Winston's directorial debut is an incredibly fun, dark, creature feature with amazing practical effects and performances. It's an 80's monster movie that spawned a bunch of sequels and created an iconic monster. If you haven't seen it, check it out as soon as possible. You won't be dissapointed!

It's October! Finally! To celebrate spooky season, we're releasing an episode every monday this month, starting with Killer Klowns From Outer Space! A classic 80's sci-fi horror comedy from the Chiodo Brothers.

Lovecraftian madness and monsters and all done with outstanding practical effects! On this episode we talk about one of our favorite low budget horrors: The Void.

It's a haunted house!! IN SPACE!! The cast is top notch, the practical effects are on point, the CGI is. . . present. The late 90's vibe is strong with this one (for me that's a good thing, opinions may vary)
