Jets forward Morgan Barron spoke about skate at hfac. He was asked if he's come back with a "chip on his shoulder" after last season's result, continuing the momentum after he had best individual season of his career, more competition for spots this season, importance of team building following end of pre-season and ahead of the regular season, benefit of a more spread out schedule, what he's seen from the Jets captain, and more.

Following his team's return from Edmonton last night where their young prospect filled group lost 5-2 they were back on the ice in Winnipeg as they get set for a back-to-back against the Avalanche and Oilers this week starting on Monday night.

He spoke about the lines, what he's expecting from a more veteran group next game, guys are picking up on the systems, impact of the time change (or lack thereof) on scheduling, the steps Morgan Barron continues to take, improving on secondary scoring, what made Stuart Skinner a good playoff goalie, having a less compressed schedule and ending pre-season with some team building.
