When the Erie Canal opened it had a speed limit of about four miles an hour. Not because the mules could not go faster. Boats that ran fast threw a wake, that wake ate the banks, and the banks were the only thing holding the water in. Your banks are your marriage, your kids, your walk with God. Those are not the obstacles to the mission. Those are what hold the mission in.

One Principle: the point is not the river and it is not the bank. The point is obedience.

One Practice: name which one you are actually in this week.

One Movement: ten minutes, alone or with your spouse, ask God directly.
