This week, we start by talking about friendship breakups and get a little vulnerable lol. We talk about outgrowing friendships, knowing when it’s time to let go, and why friendship breakups can be so hard.

Then we get into Iced Coffee Gate, which has blown up on the socials, and debate whether it’s appropriate to bring an iced coffee into a job interview. Is this even something worth fighting for? At the end of the day, is it practical? Are we becoming boomers?

We also briefly get into HYROX poop lady Joanna Wietrzyk. We give our thoughts, and we are appalled lol.

We end with our new segment, BeyHive Buzz. We talk about the Cécred UK launch and another interesting press week for Jay-Z as folks point out his connections to Robert Kraft following the controversy surrounding Macklemore being removed from Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour after saying “Free Palestine.”

At the same time, Colin Kaepernick is on a press tour of his own, debuting his new memoir, The Perilous Fight, and speaking about his experience being blackballed by the NFL. That brings us back to Jay-Z’s decision to partner with the NFL during the boycott and the role he played in bringing Black audiences and performers back to the league.

And then Rolling Stone teases Act III, Beyoncé’s highly anticipated rock album, which has us asking: Are you tryna take some of the heat off your huzzzband??

Because with everything we know now, whatever comes next is going to be VERY interesting. The stage is set, old conversations are coming back around, and some unexpected players are entering the chat.

Jay-Z may be running out of chess moves...and Colin Kaepernick might be an opponent he never expected.
