  • The Night the Holloway House Found Me — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/07
October 2019. A dead-end road in central Ohio. I drove past the Holloway House every day for a week before I noticed it was always the same time — 3:15 AM — and always the same woman in the upstairs window. She never moved. She never blinked. The second time I saw her, I pulled over. The third time, I walked up the porch steps. The house was supposed to be empty, had been empty since the 1980s. But the front door was unlocked, and inside the air was warm, and the dust on the floor had footprints that were not my own. This is not a story about ghosts. It is a story about a house that learned to wait. And about the night I learned that some doors only open when you are already inside.

  • The Last Light on Parson's Point — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/06
January 1987. A disabled fishing trawler drifts into the channel off Parson's Point, Maine, on the coldest night of the year. The Coast Guard cutter answers the distress call, but when they reach the vessel, they find no crew—just a galley radio still playing a voice that none of them transmitted. Luna tells the story of Petty Officer Second Class Ray Colletti, who was aboard the cutter that night, and who has not slept through a full night since. He told her this account last fall, sitting in the back booth of a diner in Rockland, nursing a cup of coffee he never once drank from. This is what he remembers: the fog, the cold, the smell of diesel and salt, and the sound of something that should never have been able to speak through a ship-to-shore radio. A quiet, slow-burn story about the things that listen in the dark water.

  • The Night the Highway Ate the Lights — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/05
In the autumn of 2003, Luna found herself stranded at a roadside diner off a forgotten stretch of U.S. Route 50 in Nevada — the 'Loneliest Road in America.' The waitress, an old woman named Esther, kept glancing at the window as if waiting for something to arrive. Then the headlights stopped coming. The diner's clock stopped at 2:17 AM. And a man in a silver suit walked in from the dark, asking for something that didn't belong to him. This is the story of a night when a highway became a mouth, when the living and the missing traded places, and when Luna learned that some roads are not built to be traveled — they are built to be fed.

  • The Night the Bell Tower Never Stopped — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/04
Luna recounts a strange October night in the town of Merridale, Vermont, where she went to see the old Congregational church's bell tower—a landmark known for its silence since 1982. But on this night, the bell began ringing without pause, and the custodian who let her in acted like he'd been expecting her for decades. As the hours stretched and the clapper kept swinging, Luna realized the tower wasn't summoning anyone—it was marking something that had already happened, something that would keep happening as long as someone listened. A quiet, creeping story about duty, time, and the sound you can't unhear.

  • The Drowned Boy of Stillwater River — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/03
A quiet September evening in 2019. A stretch of river outside a town called Eden Falls, Maine. Luna's uncle Ray used to tell her about a boy who drowned in the Stillwater River in 1947—a boy who never left. She visits the riverbank alone, late, with a flashlight and a half-remembered story. What she finds there isn't a ghost in the usual sense. It's a presence that waits in the dark water, patient and cold, and it has been expecting her. This is not a story about a haunting. It's a story about being remembered by something that should have forgotten you long ago.

  • The Chatham Ferryman — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/02
November 1998. Luna drives through Chatham, Massachusetts on the way to a lighthouse interview and stops at a diner called The Rusty Hook. The waitress tells her about a local man named Elias Vickery who has been operating the ferry across Stage Harbor since before anyone can remember. In the fog of the past few nights, passengers have reported seeing someone standing on the water beside the boat — not in a wetsuit, not on a buoy, just standing there in the chop, watching. Two nights ago, a woman named Grace Moran rode the ferry at 11:30 PM and swore the figure looked like her own son who drowned in 1982. She tried to jump. The ferryman held her back. When she turned to thank him, he was gone. The ferry was halfway across the channel, drifting with no one at the tiller. Grace found the boat moored at the east dock with her purse on the bench and the engine still running. No sign of Elias. The Coast Guard searched for three days. Nothing. No body, no boat in their logs — they don't even have a record of a ferry licensed to that crossing. But last night the fog came back, and Luna can hear something from the keeper's quarters of the Chatham Light: a low, hollow gonging against the pilings, like a skiff bumping the dock. And when she looks down through the mist, there is a shape on the water, standing perfectly still where the channel runs deep.
