STRANGE TALES OF WRESTLING Ep#3: CYCLONE MACKEY
The shocking true story of the first masked wrestler in Mexican history — and he wasn’t Mexican.
In 1934, an American journeyman wrestler from Missouri named Cyclone Mackey (real name Corbin James Massey) stepped into the ring in Mexico City wearing a custom black hood and became La Maravilla Enmascarada — the very first enmascarado in Lucha Libre.
