Hey there, friend. I'm Julia, and I'm so glad you're here. You know, it's early Monday morning as we're recording this, and I'm betting some of you are already feeling that familiar weight settling in. Maybe it's the week ahead, maybe it's just the accumulated stuff we carry around without even noticing. Whatever brought you here today, I want you to know that taking this time for yourself right now? That's already the hardest part done. So let's get comfortable. Find yourself a spot where you can sit or lie down, somewhere that feels like it's just for you for the next few minutes. There's no perfect posture here, no special outfit required. Just you, as you are. Now, I want you to notice your breath without trying to change it yet. Just watch it, like you're observing clouds drifting across a sky. In and out. Natural. Easy. There's no performance happening here. Your breath has been taking care of you since the moment you were born, and it knows exactly what to do. Here's what we're going to do together. I call this the Softening Breath, and it's going to feel like giving permission to every tight corner of your body to finally let go. As you breathe in through your nose, imagine drawing in the most soothing color you can picture. Maybe it's soft blue, or warm gold, or gentle green. Whatever calls to you. Breathe that in deeply, and as you do, mentally scan your body. Notice where you're holding tension. Your shoulders? Your jaw? Your belly? Just notice without judgment. Now exhale slowly through your mouth, like you're breathing out worry itself. As that breath leaves, imagine releasing that tension, watching it dissolve like mist in morning sun. Do this again. Inhale your color, scan, and exhale that weight away. One more time, slowly. Inhale calm. Exhale tension. Feel how your body begins to respond, like it's finally being asked permission to rest. Now, here's the magic part. As you drift back to your regular breathing, keep that softening going. Let your shoulders drop. Unclench whatever you didn't know you were clenching. As your day unfolds, remember this feeling. When you feel tension creeping back in, pause and take just one of those softening breaths. You don't need twenty minutes. One conscious breath can reset everything. Thank you so much for joining me on Relaxation today. I hope this practice gave you a little space to breathe.
