Everyone’s becoming someone. Who are you becoming?

Becoming is a podcast for girls figuring out faith, life, and who they’re becoming along the way.

Here, we ask the questions you’ve actually wondered about, talk honestly about the things that feel hard, and turn what we’re learning about God into real life. No pretending to have it all together—just real conversations, biblical truth, and practical steps to help you grow.

Come as you are, bring your questions, and let’s become women who know God, know who He made us to be, and aren’t afraid to live it out.

New episodes every week.

  • 5. Are you treating God like someone who hurt you?
    2026/10/16

This episode of Becoming takes a step back to explore our relationship with God. We are all made in God's image as people who like to create, but we can start to skew our vision of who God is by creating him in our image, based on our lived experiences. Let's chat about how we can realize those discrepancies and speak truth into the lies we have believed about God.

If we are seeking to become more like Christ, let's make sure he's the God of the bible, not the God of our experiences.

  • 4. You are not enough
    2026/10/08

I think we have all heard it said, Chanted, screamed from the rooftops: “You are enough!” its a phrase that feels good in the moment, but can actually rationalize some unhealthy thought patterns and put pride between you and others, and you and the Lord. Today let's dive into why, as Christians becoming more like Christ daily, means growing towards acknowledging our weaknesses, shame, guilt, sin (etc…). And how being in coversation with Christ about these things will provide us much more freedom by allowing christ to enter those areas than simply chanting "I am enough” and hoping one day that sentiment becomes true.

  • 3. Taking God off auto pilot
    2026/10/01

The question Jesus asks at Bethesda is the same one we still avoid: Do you want to get well? In this devotional on John 5:1–9, we explore why that question is more confronting than comforting—and why the man at the pool may be more like us than we want to admit. Through the story of a man disabled for 38 years, Elly reflects on how Jesus sees people in their pain and connects the Bethesda story to Hagar’s encounter with Adonai El Roi, the God who sees. Along the way, she considers how fear and excuses can keep us stuck, and why healing can mean taking God off autopilot and boldly trusting him to see us through every opportunity.
