Join us for a fun chat about Bettie Boswell's new children's book, her second Lucy adventure, "Finding Fluffy."
The first Lucy book was "Lucy and Thunder," where Lucy learns to deal with her fear of Thunder, and ends up making friends with Thunder.
In "Finding Fluffy," her pet skunk, Fluffy, feels neglected and left out because of Lucy's friendship with Thunder. He runs away, and his adventure helps children to deal with issues of loneliness and feeling left out, and understand that people can be friends with more than one person -- or skunk!
We had a fun time talking about Bettie's process of coming up with stories and her different illustration styles, as well as her training background.
