Recently someone showed me a video from a channel (free_indeed_836 on Instagram) that cleverly misuses typology and spiritual symbols to argue that, because Christians are a kingdom of priests — and the priests of the Old Testament worked on the Sabbath — we now in the new covenant are therefore exempt from keeping the Sabbath as it was commanded. Today we will unpack these points and see using scripture if they hold any water.
