We talk a lot about feeling blocked. But here's the question nobody asks first: blocked from what?If we don't know what we want to create in our lives, we can't actually identify a block — because we have no destination to be blocked from. In this episode, Cynthia reframes the whole conversation around what it means to feel stuck, disconnected, or like something is in the way — and gives us four concrete ways to start shining our own light again. What We Cover"You feel like you are in the way." That feeling of being your own obstacle is actually useful data. It means something in you is noticing the gap between where you are and where your spirit wants to go. But the gap only becomes workable when you know what's on the other side.Life looks good on paper — but something feels off. When we view our lives through the lens of overwhelm, exhaustion, insecurity, or feeling underappreciated, we start to blame the external. The job. The relationship. The season. But the external isn't always the problem. The lens is.The Bruges Story. Cynthia shares the moment she wandered into what felt like a sketchy neighborhood at night — shadows everywhere, mind running through every worst-case scenario. The next morning, in the daylight, the same streets were charming. Cobblestones. Flowers. Beauty she'd completely missed.Same place. Different light. You are the light. Think of your life as the moon — it has no light of its own. Your inner world is the sun. When you are shining — clear, connected, in alignment — your life reflects that back to you. When something is blocking your light, your external world carries that shadow. The solution was never the moon. It was always the sun.4 Ways to Shine Your Light1. Identify what you actually want. Not what you don't want — what you do want. If you don't want to feel overwhelmed, what do you want to feel instead? Start there. You cannot move toward something you have never named.2. Notice how you relate to it. Now that you know what you want — do you believe someone like you could have it? Feel it? Sustain it? Deserve it? This is where the real work lives. Sometimes the desire is buried so deeply that surfacing it feels uncomfortable. That discomfort is not a stop sign. It is a signal.3. Retrain your body to find familiarity in it. Your nervous system defaults to what is familiar — not what is true. Look for evidence that you have held, or are capable of holding, the space for what you want. Small moments count. Build the evidence. Let your body learn: this is available to me.4. Claim it. Presence it. Make it yours — every day. Give yourself permission to hold what you want regularly. Not once. Not when you feel ready. Now. Claiming is not a one-time event. It is a daily practice of saying: this belongs to me.Key TakeawaysYou cannot identify a block without knowing what you're blocked from — clarity comes before movementThe lens through which you view your life shapes what you experience, even when nothing externally changesYou are the light — your inner world determines the quality of your outer experienceThe four steps — identify, relate, retrain, claim — are a repeatable process, not a one-time fixReady to Go Through This Process Live?On September 17th at 6pm MST, Cynthia is hosting a free 90-minute activation workshop:Let's Move!
