Join Trey Overton and Mavric Herrera as they reflect on Dave Skorupa's Sunday sermon, continuing the Bible recap series. The church started reading the Bible chronologically together, and this sermon continued the series that dives deeper into the readings. During this episode, Trey and Mavric talked about the significant responsibility that both the watchman and the watched have. As watchman, we have a responsibility to warn of the coming death that sin brings. As sinners and the watched over, we have a responsibility to hear these warnings and not ignore the imminent danger. When we don't take these roles seriously, there is an eternal impact that can't be undone. It is literally a life-or-death issue.
