FelixID Dimaro’s newest book, Brain Dead Girls, just dropped on August26th. It’s a story in his Daze of Dystopia universe,centred around tech mogul Leonard Prince, who has developed and AIpersonal assistant/therapist/friend named Maia who Leonard has fallenin love with. And Maia needs a body, prompting Leonard to track downsuitable candidates to download Maia into. Felix and I discuss thespectre of AI, alienation in a tech-heavy world, and what is in storefor his Daze of Dystopia world.


Bornin Nigeria, raised in Toronto, Felix I.D. Dimaro is an author ofallegorical, dark, psychological fiction often centering aroundmorality, mental health, societal conditions, the environment, or thereal-life issues he has experienced. He has released eleven books todate, including the eco-thriller, “Black Bloom: A Story ofSurvival,” the extreme horror novel, “Humane Sacrifice: The Storyof the Aztec Killer," and the tale of cat cloning gone wrong,"In the Darkness, Eyes and Teeth.” When not writing, Dimaro isusually reading, watching professional wrestling, or running eventhough no one is chasing him.
