- Snyder’s phone pinged a nearby cell tower at 11:08 p.m., conflicting with his later claim he was home before 10:00 p.m.
- Julie’s bowling bag was found in her parked car with the door closed and shoes inside, as if she planned to return immediately.
- A combine harvested row fourteen on September 17 and initially revealed nothing; 1.4 inches of rain and a temperature drop later exposed a hand four inches above the surface.
