 Dr Bhatia grew up in an Indian family in north Texas. His father was a physician and he took care of the family. No one knew about mental health or illness. Dr Bhatia fell in love with the brain in high school and science in college. Later on Dr Bhatia obtained his MD in Psychiatry and PhD in Neuroscience--the perfect combination to help those who suffer brain conditions and not represented in mainstream society which is his passion.
