What if the next problem you’re trying to solve isn’t really a “how” problem — but a “who” problem?
In this episode of The Invested Fathers, I share a few life updates and several recent conversations that reminded me how much of business, investing, and life comes down to relationships.
I talk about reconnecting with a potential investor through LinkedIn, helping an investor navigate a deal that went south in Arizona, working through delayed K-1s on a Texas investment, dealing with challenges on a Colorado project, and having conversations with friends and investors about their long-term goals.
The common thread: instead of always asking, “How do I figure this out?” maybe the better question is, “Who do I need to talk to?”
We also get into the importance of communication when deals don’t go according to plan, why consistently putting yourself out there can create unexpected opportunities, and why sometimes you just need to stop overthinking the outreach and start the conversation.
If there’s something you’ve been stuck on lately, ask yourself:
Who do I need to be talking to?
