Adam Ross is the founder of Adam Ross Custom in Houston, known around town as "the Suit Boss." He started out cold-calling for Xerox and walked out the day a tailor offered him a job in custom clothing. He launched his own company on January 1, 2020, with no savings, weeks before COVID shut down the mills he buys from. Today his shop sees 8 to 10 clients a day, dresses pro athletes and Houston's business crowd, and has sold a single suit for about $35,000.
