I thought I was taking an ordinary taxi ride home. But when the driver turned onto an isolated forest road, I realized something was terribly wrong.

In the fall of 2008, Rachel Turner finishes a long shift at a hospital in northern Pennsylvania. After missing her usual shuttle, she decides to take a taxi home.

At first, everything seems normal.

The driver is polite. The journey is quiet. And Rachel has no reason to suspect that anything unusual is about to happen.

But then the driver begins asking strange questions.

He takes an unfamiliar route, claims the main road is closed, and ignores Rachel when she asks him to turn around.

As the taxi travels deeper into the darkness, surrounded by miles of empty forest, Rachel begins to fear that the man behind the wheel is not who he claims to be.

With no one nearby to help, she must find a way out before it's too late.

A chilling, realistic horror story filled with psychological suspense, a mysterious stranger, an isolated forest road, and a terrifying taxi ride that turns into a nightmare.
