Syracuse Orange Basketball enters a new era with Gerry McNamara at the helm—can he restore the program’s former glory? Jackson Holzer examines McNamara’s hiring, the fanbase’s skepticism about sticking with the “family,” and how landing 5-star forward Moussa Kamissoko injects fresh hope for the future.

Breakdown includes John Rothstein’s blunt critique of Syracuse’s current roster, questions about true All-ACC talent, and analysis of key players like Kiyan Anthony’s potential leap this season. Projected starting lineup surprises, year-one NCAA Tournament bubble odds, and comparisons to recent first-year ACC coaches keep the stakes high. With the tournament expanding to 76 teams, will Syracuse finally end its March Madness drought?
