You can love somebody deeply and still need different access.
That does not make you cold. It does not make you bitter. And it does not mean you failed at forgiveness.
In Season 2, Episode 6 of Vision & Ink: It Is Written, we’re talking about what happens when love, forgiveness, wisdom, and boundaries all have to sit at the same table.
Sometimes your heart remembers the good while wisdom keeps reminding you what you tolerated.
Sometimes you miss the person and still know the relationship cannot go back to what it was.
Sometimes forgiveness frees your heart, but wisdom still changes the door.
This episode is about learning the difference between loving someone and abandoning yourself to keep the relationship intact.
We’ll talk about boundaries, access, family, friendship, romantic relationships, church relationships, and what it looks like to love people without continuing to participate in patterns that keep hurting you.
Because:
Forgiveness does not automatically restore the same access.
And sometimes the question is no longer, “Do I love them?”
The better question is:
What does loving them wisely look like now?
